Mission Statement

Our aim is to unite and inspire young people from all walks of life to celebrate creativity, self-expression, and collaboration. At The Rising Music Festival we empower young people to actively participate in the creative process by providing industry-standard training and performance opportunities. Our key themes are empowerment, community engagement, celebrating variety, and live performance excellence.

Empowerment:

Inspiring youth musicians to feel confident and capable of achieving their goals, while providing an outlet for creative expression and performance, no matter what the artist’s preferred musical genre or performance style.

Community Engagement:

Involving local bands, schools and youth clubs in the recording process of a song, to foster a positive, uplifting sense of community through music.

Showcasing different musical styles (from cabaret to spoken word, and from pop to rock, rap and metal) and opportunities for young people of all ages to get involved and make some noise! As part of our commitment to inclusivity, we plan to make the festival accessible to the widest possible audience.

Live Performance Excellence:

Creating a performance experience that is visually and audibly captivating and provides inspiration and entertainment to the people of East Hampshire.
